I consider all my brides to be my friends. We bond, we laugh and we cry together. That is why I chose to be a wedding planner. I wanted to see the difference I was making in peoples lives and develop friendships that just aren’t possible in other professions.
It is an honor to play a role in someone’s wedding day, especially, when it’s one of your best friends.
I met Ashley through our mutual friend, Amanda. She was sweet, kind of quiet, and irritatingly pretty. We were on our way to a tacky sweater party (she didn’t look tacky). She was excited to see a boy, Nick, whom Amanda had introduced her to at Applebee’s the night before. Just wait…it gets classier.
We arrived at the party. The apartment reeked of sweaty boys with a hint of mildew. Beer cans were everywhere; in fact, they used empty beer cans as ornaments on the tree. #totalfratmove

They were inseparable from the start. It was probably because we used masking tape to attach beer to their hands and to one another.
Pictured: Ashley and Nick (I apologize for the poor picture quality. The photographer was probably drunk, the lighting was scarce, and iPhones didn’t exist back then.)
With or without the tape, Ashley and Nick stuck together for the past 6 years.
Ashley said YES!
After finding love in a hopeless place, I am certain that these two will live a happy life as husband and wife.
It is a privilege to have watched your relationship evolve and be a part of your special day. Like your love, it will be nothing short of magical.
