Tremaine Ranch Shoot

Recently, I had the opportunity (and pleasure) of shooting at a location that I’ve been admiring from a far. Tremaine Ranch is a gorgeous venue for intimate gatherings, and it was the perfect setting for this styled shoot. My inspiration for this shoot stemmed from my free spirit. Usually free spirits and type-A wedding planners do not mix, how ever, this evolving wedding trend has made a staple in the wedding world. Brides are trading in their tiaras for flower crowns and leaving their heels at home. I couldn’t be happier!

I rallied together the best team anyone could ask for. Their talent, passion and love for what they do transpire through their work, and it shows in these beautiful images. Many of them, like myself, are up and coming in the Arizona Wedding scene. They are what I like to call my “best kept secrets”.

When we arrived, I began setting up my tablescape (fancy word for table top). Leah Theodosis, who manages Tremaine Ranch, was kind enough to let me use one of their antique picnic tables. To compliment our bohemian theme, I wanted to mix and match decor. Tea Crockery lent me some of her beautiful, vintage china, silver/gold-ware and colored goblets. The china offered a feminine feel, while the goblets pulled in a bohemian and modern twist. The garland runner was provided by LUX Wedding Florist. Greenery has become a very popular wedding trend, so I wanted to incorporate it on my tablescape.

I hired a beautiful model, Angelica, who’s look and style complimented my vision to a T. She was dressed by my good friend and stylist, Risa Kostis and her incredible team at Ristyle Consulting. They pulled wardrobe from Free People and Sky at a boutique called Pretty Please in Scottsdale. We accessorized with pieces from Elizabeth and James and Kendra Scott. Tawni Bare, our talented hair stylist and manager at Altered Ego Salon in Tempe, did two looks for Angelica that included loose waves and fishtail braids. Rosie Reed, from Rosie Reed Beauty, did Angelica’s makeup. Both looks were relatively natural, with smokey browns on the eyes and a pop of color on the lip.

Our first look included wardrobe from Free People, accessories from Kendra Scott and a bouquet and flower crown from Butterfly Petals.
