Q: What’s the difference between a wedding planner and a wedding coordinator?

A: Wedding planners serve as your personal consultant, with a wide stemmed focus on every detail that makes up your dream wedding. From the initial planning stages (providing venue options, reviewing contracts, researching vendors) to time management on your special day (coordination), wedding planners are with you every step of the way. A wedding coordinators’ main focus is the flow and management of your wedding day. Starting with day of preparation (creating timeline, coordinating a ceremony rehearsal, confirming details with contracted vendors) to the management and coordination of all contracted vendors and personalized details and decor. Wedding coordinators typically pick up 1 month prior to your event date.

Q: My venue comes with a coordinator. Do I still need to hire a coordinator?

A: Yes! Venue coordinators are very helpful, as they are experts on the ins and outs of their space. How ever, their responsibilities and areas of concern are very different than mine. Venue coordinators act as a liaison between the clients and their venue. On the day of, their responsibility is to ensure that the venue is set correctly (tables, chairs, place setting), the food is out on time, and that tear down runs smoothly. Spark Note Version: A venue coordinator works for the venue. A hired planner/coordinator works for you!

Q: Can I customize package options?

A. Yes! Everyone’s wedding planning process is different, which is why ALL package options are customizable. As a result, pricing may vary.

Q: Do you plan destination weddings?

A: Yes! I love to travel. How ever, there is way more planning and coordination involved with destination weddings. As a result, a 30% fee increase is applied to the package of your choosing. This increase will go towards travel, lodging and extra time spent planning the wedding of your dreams.

Q: I don’t live in Arizona. Will you still help me plan my Arizona wedding?

A: Yes! I’ve worked with clients from New York City to North Carolina on perfecting their Arizona wedding. I highly recommend my full-time and partial planning services for out-of-state clients.

    Brittny Elseser - Hi,

I am interested in day of coordination on 11/11/17 at the Hyatt Regency Scottsdale for my wedding.
