When Vanessa Ruiz, former channel 12 news anchor, approached us with the idea of a lux, bohemian wedding, we had to get on board! Vanessa and Sam's intimate affair at Hermosa Inn is one of the most unique weddings we have ever planned. The montelucia
Kaitlyn and Richard's lux wedding at The Montelucia was complimented by a rich color palette and lush blooms. Their ceremony was held on the iconic Valencia Lawn, where we added marsala blooms to the existing ivy backdrop. The reception was held at Castillo Lucena, with cathedral ceilings and gorgeous, architectural details. Like the space, we chose eye-catching linen and designed an extravagant sweetheart table to enhance the space in a unique way.

coup des tartes
When we were approached to design a shoot for Arizona Weddings’ 2016 issue, we were inspired by the venue- Coup Des Tartes in Phoenix, Arizona. The quaint setting offered the perfect foundation for our elopement-inspired shoot. We created a moody color palette with eggplant, marsala, mauve and accents of gold. We collected spare logs from a local lumber yard, to create a jaw dropping backdrop, adorned with greenery and candlelight. This shoot made the cover of Arizona Weddings Planning Guide and has been featured on numerous blogs. It will remain one of our favorites.

party on the park
clayton on the park
Tie the Knot by Tessa’s studio is located next to Clayton on the Park. Once we were settled, we decided to throw a party to celebrate our new move with industry friends! Our Party on the Park, was a joyous event that allowed us to play with our favorite vendors. We created a welcoming and cozy setting with various lounges, provided by Prim Rentals. To showcase our design aesthetic, we also incorporated some table tops, a dessert table and a ceremony backdrop. Because our event was in the spring, we chose a soft color palette with variations of blues and blushes. If we could re-live this night, we would!
